After what many of you know has been far too long, shop t shirts have arrived! Sporting new logos designed in house by our Miss Fisher, these are awesome. Shirts are available in women's cuts in size medium through XL, and men's are available in M-2XL.
Pint glasses are in stock as well. The Milltown Cycles typeface shirts above has the round headbadge logo featured below on the back.
Stop in and check these out, we're thrilled to finally have these to offer!
I've got a heck of a few weeks coming up. Between work, play, and conferences these next 13 days or so will be nuts.
Today I'm riding my bike. I'm testing set ups for a tour out west this fall. I've got 25 miles in so far, and I'm hoping for another 100 or so. I'm headed to Lebanon Hills, and possibly Murphy to check out the bike loaded on single track. It should be a heck of a day.
We've been hard at work getting new logos going for a while now. Here's what we've come up with. These will be featured on pint glasses, shop t shirts, and eventually jersey's and shorts. T shirts and smaller items will begin arriving next week in a few colors and designs. Jerseys will be a bit longer, and I'll have more info on those soon. We're really excited to finally get these projects going. I hope you like them!
As far as I'm concerned these can't come quick enough. It'll be great!
I've had a great weekend so far cruising around on the Big Dummy. Meg and I are redoing some things in our bathroom, namely paint and a new vanity. Since Menard's is a whopping 1.5 mile from our house, a quick BD run had everything we needed easily carried. We even had a nice picnic along the river on the way home.
Fast forward to today, with exceptionally nice weather again, and I spent the early morning just cruising around town. It was cool enough that a light jacket and long sleeves were quite comfy, a first in a very long time. It felt great!
After the scorching heat of the last few weeks this cool weather is a welcome change, and a harbinger of great fall weather to come. I, for one, gladly welcome the return of fall weather. Fall is hands down my favorite time of year. I'm ready.
Got out this morning for around 20 miles of gravel. We met some of the Salsa crew and friends in Farmington, and rode through foggy roads into Umore Park. The feel of the fog was really awesome. Everyone had water droplets collection on their cables and frames before too long.
The roads were in great shape. With recent rain keeping the dust down, the surfaces were dead smooth and quite fast.
I want this bike. Gnat's 2013 Ti Fargo with XT drivetrain and Whiskey Carbon fork. Super good looking, lightweight, and smooth as hell.
I also want this bike. E-Fred rocking his Ti Warbird at speed. Sweet bike.
Nothing like a little Umore offroad to start a great Friday. Thanks to the guys for a great morning!
