Changes and Announcements

The last three weeks have positively flew by here at the shop. We have been busy doing a bunch of renovation work, and have been busy with repairs and riding as well. Wall preparation is almost finished in front of bringing in clothing inventory. All the clothing racks are in, and we've started painting the walls today. Racks should be installed before next week, and clothing inventory will be in shortly after.

We are also changing a portion of the north wall to bring in a new type of inventory for us. We are going to be stocking a small amount of select camping products. These will be products geared towards bike packing specifically. This represents a step towards bringing in more bike packing and adventure riding products such as an expanded rack and bag selection, a few sleeping options such as Golite tents and shelters, and OR bivy sacks. This stuff will be trickling into the shop starting next week. We'll be updating info on the blog and on our website in the future to reflect these additions. Stop in and check out the new stuff.

Finally, a big announcement. After 6 years in business, we are finally going to be legitimate Salsa Cycles dealers this year! This is the culmination of a lot of work and prep between us and the fine folks at Salsa and it's safe to say we're pretty excited about it. Since we have carried Salsa products in the past, what's going to change you ask? A lot frankly. We will now be able to backorder out of stock items and get preferential ordering. This means that if you want a bike and are waiting like everyone else, we have a better shot of getting you one quick. We will also be able to access Salsa dealer specific products, namely their exquisite titanium line of bikes. Next year Salsa is bringing out some pretty mind blowing products, many of which we will have in the shop to try out and see.

This will of course tie in with our expanded line of products. You will now be able to come in, buy a Salsa adventure bike and necessary bags, get set up with a sleeping and cook system, and go adventuring! I am thrilled to be able to bring these things in the shop finally. This is the stuff that all of us like to do anyway, it'll be a lot of fun to talk about these and sell them.

Stop in and check out what we've been up too.
